Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa Sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP) Inc. together with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) invited talented performers from Ode to Joy Music and Arts Center for its kids concert in the Gourmet and Craft Fair at the Robinsons Place Antipolo with the theme Goodies of the Oldies.
Sage Araneta, a 10 year old semi-finalist of the Eat Bulaga’s Hype kang Bata ka, a promil preschool TV Commercial 2014 Model, and Little Big Shots Musician, started the program with the invocation by playing How Great is Our God.
DTI Regional Director Marilou Toledo gave an inspiring message to the young ones as she offer her support in the future.
“Makakatulong, maybe, kami in the future kung kailangan to support yung inyong career to move forward, to embrace your talent and share it to the Filipinos and to the world,” she said.
She also thanked and encouraged to continue the progress of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) that participated in the ten day exhibit to showcase their businesses.
“Sa lahat ng SMEs natin na exhibitors ngayon, congratulations na sa inyo. Tuloy tuloy lang ang pagbenta ng mga produkto at kami po sa Department of Trade and Industry, sa regional office sa CALABARZON region together with our DTI rizal here, tuloy tuloy lang din po ang aming pag-assist at pagtulong sa inyo mula sa inyong pag-uumpisa as an entrepreneur hanggang sa kayo po ay magkakaroon ng business model hanggang sa magiging sustainable po ang inyong negosyo so marami pong salamat,” she added.
Jada Catherine Osias, a ten year old student from Sienna College, warmed the stage as she sang Touch the Sky from Disney’s Brave then later performed Thank You for the Music by ABBA.
Jan Karl Magnaye from San Beda College Rizal Campus entertained the audience with Minuet and Elvis Presley’s Can’t Help Falling in Love.
Lyngrove Christian Academy Cassandra Nina Navia displayed her skills in piano with Emile Waldteufel’s Skater’s Waltz and Paul Mauriat’s Love is Blue.
Next was Raizel Briana Cruz of the Golden Faith Academy, an eleven year old pianist that amused the viewers with Skip to my Lou, Beauty and the Beast, and Minuet in G and she sang the famous Burn from Hamilton and Disturbed’s Sound of Silence.
Sage Araneta, Morning Dew Montessori Gabriel Alexander Dy and San Beda College Rizal Charles Nicolas Magnaye shined their moments by playing the piano.
Araneta showed his skills with Bach 2 Part Inventions and Unchained Melody, Dy with Lightly Row and Music Box Dancer, and Magnaye with Shining Stars, Catch a Falling Star and Born Free.
Golden Faith Academy Nirel Samson impressed the listeners with her voice singing Isang Lahi popularized by Regine Velasquez and My Way.
Ode to Joy Music and Arts Center Manager Amethyst Joy Araneta Capaque, Chairman of SARAP Inc. Jinggay de Pedro Lejano, House of Higantes Food Products Manager Merycel Calsas Ramirez and Divina Gracia Guillarte awarded the certificates of appreciation at the end of the program to the performers.
